If you want to steal an idea, steal it like Coca-Cola.

It was in the 1930s when Coca-Cola wanted to improve their winter sales.

They ran "Thirst knows no season" advertising campaign in which a fat, friendly, bearded man in a red suit with white fur (which are the colours of Coca-Cola) was depicted enjoying the coke.

The first modern Santa was born that year, and even today when Santa is described, we instantly remember Coca-Cola's colour.

Not many know a story here - Coca Cola actually stole the idea of Santa from Dutch's figure "Sinterklaas" who was skinny and often wore green, or sometimes purple or red.

Coca-Cola stole the idea, improvised on it and created original creative input.

Good artists copy an idea, great artists steal it.

As a writer, many times, you also find inspiring stuff in another writer's article or blog.

Rather than plainly copying it and getting trapped in plagiarism, go ahead, steal the idea, incorporate it into your own writing, and create a new story that delivers a unique heart-touching message. #herewordsspeak #content #writing

Yes Hitarth Sheth, Steve Jobs had said, "We have always been shameless about stealing great ideas."
