Does Facebook Pixel track COD transactions? (Conversions obviously not revenue)

Zain Siddiqui
Sir if someone is placing an order on your site it can be tracked.
Paise cash me dia ke nahi, itna na kar paega ek masoom pixel. Uske liye vafadaar delivery boy chahiye who updates the system and then system can be linked back to Facebook audience for confirmed orders (ph no / email id)

Have different confirmation pages for online orders and cod orders. (I don't know how this is possible)
Then track custom conversions on each page. You'll directly get idea on Ads Manager and google analytics about number of cod and prepaid orders

I do know the number of transactions because I can manually check from payment gateways. But the problem is Pixel can’t capture COD orders which haven’t been accepted. And that can make an impact on overall numbers including the conversion rate itself.
+ If there is a COD order for Rs 500. Does Facebook only treat this as 1 conversion or treats it as 1 conversions + revenue from it (Rs 500)

accepted ?
Do you mean you the orders that you accept and reject from the logistics backend?
if you use ecommmerce platforms like Shopify, Woocommerce, etc. it can easily track Purchase along with the price (value) of that purchase conversion.
In some cases, you can manually set custom conversions and assign values to a conversion.
Aayush Poddar
yes I am aware about this. Let me ask a more direct question.
Does Facebook Pixel Track the conversión from Woocommerce OR the payment gateway (Razorpay / Paytm)?
accepted by the person who ordered it (customer) *
Sarang Surendra Bhirad
even if the order turns out RTO, pixel will still count it as a Purchase in the Ads Manager.
It has only to do with website's page where customer lands after payment, and nothing to do with order acceptance or returns.

Wait, why wont fb track conversion orders of COD orders
1. Have a landing page that passes the order amount variable to be displayed on the page.
2. Configure your code so that the conversion tracking pixel tracks the dynamic variable.
Faisal Zia Anwer
Nope. It tracks that the order is placed and counts it as an acquired customer.

Does it track revenue based on Woocommerce or Payment Gateway (Razorpay/ Paytm)?
Geet Kiran Aneja
Aayush Poddar Hi! Pixel tracks only confirmed orders. For example if you are using shopify, when the order is confirmed and it brings back the user to the site and site's confirmed order page then it becomes 1 conversion. Also it tracks the revenue according to the pricing of your product s on shopify.
so it will track both prepaid and COD but not show separate identity for each and will track the total revenue generated via Prepaid And COD. For tracking them differently use different order confirmation pages.

Guys one more question. r elated. to this-
Can we set multiple different pixels on the same website?
Christopher John
you can but the tracking will be muddled.
Aayush Poddar
I wanted to install a different pixel at a time we are not running discounts. You think that will backfire?
Christopher John
