Google’s chief education evangelist Jaime Casap believes: Gen Z will be the ones to fix the broken workplace structure.

Its been a long-standing debate on how chaotic it is in the workplace to get all the cohorts of generation work together with the common set of rules and standards. The word millennial has been trending discussion topics every now and then and with the new generation peaking behind to join the workforce, the chaos is going to be louder than before.

"Based on the Bloomberg analysis of UN data Gen Z will comprise 32% of the global population of 7.7 billion in 2019, nudging ahead of millennials, who will account for a 31.5% share."

Who is Gen Z?

Gen Z is basically the cohort of people who are born since 1996. They are being regarded as an artistic age of people who will bring about new forms of survival with their art. Usually regarded as self-confident and independent, people from Gen Z are likely to be more adaptable to changes than the previous generations.

What differentiates them from previous generations?

Gen Z has seen tremendous developments since their childhood and have understood the pace of the world as ever-changing.

They have seen mobile phones getting transformed into a smartphone, changing trends of retail shopping to online purchasing, small markets getting disrupted by big multinationals and also the local business moving towards global business.

They are mindful individuals who are eager to make it big on their own. They are highly motivated to bring in a change with their constant efforts to learn and adapt to new skills.

They are going to be more skillful than the generations before as they are aware of the importance of various skills for survival. They are more self-learned individuals who won't spend millions for a degree but will constantly lookout for ways to improvise their knowledge.

So if the Gen Z is going to be this dynamic and voracious of a learner, why is it that the big organizations are fearing the changes required in an organization with their entry?
