Hiring a Sales Team vs Paid Traffic!!

After creating the product, one of the most important things is Marketing.

Let's say that I have a business particularly in the field of selling healthcare products. Now I want to marketize my products so as to generate revenue.

But at the same time, I want to scale the business as well. So I would have to stop from day to day selling and focus more on growth systems and processes involved in it.

So there can be two options ;

  • SEO or paid traffic
  • Hire a Sales team

What would you suggest should I go heavy on SEO and paid traffic or hire a sales team?

Corona, sales team kaam kese karegi also anyhow funnels when done right are more effective

Absolutely. Can’t do physical meetings but can do everything else. His/ her efforts will get slowed down but it will still be worth it. The ground work he does now - building database, contacts, talking, warming them up - count🙂

If you start digital first you will be shooting in the dark. Get market pulse first.

Organic reach always create a brand value, you will understand the do's and don'ts, which will help you in long term anyway! Human interaction is better anyday because it gives an impression of strength in the market. Even hire only 1 or 2 people who know SEO and have hands on experience in traditional sales funnel. That way you will have a strength in both the segments whether it's Digital Marketing or Traditional Marketing

What if on a budget and looking at the scenario now, I dont think sales team could work that efficiently!!

budget is always gonna be a challenge and it's your job to manage it wisely for sure! Tele-sales doesn't require physical availability.
Where there's a will there's a way so efficiency is just a word for someone who will consider your product/service as their own. I would still manage to choose Sales team over paid traffic

businesses dependent & thriving on something beyond their control don't have a long life.swiggy ke restaurants lelo ya majority new media which had a high fb traffic - restaurants are paying as much as 20% - 30% in commissions while many top publishersclosed operations when organic fb reach went down.

Those who depend on paid traffic are on the mercy of these platforms.Build your own platforms (mobile/web),hire sales team and try growing organically as much as possible!

if you're planning it to use them as a shortter hack just to get away with these times then sure but don't get 'dependent' on it. Most businesses today are built on paid traffic and contrary to popular opinion, I believe they won't survive for very long or in worst times (when the masters will change the rules).

you would be needing sales team to handle the traffic coming from paid searches -no ? While I agree the present scenario would hamper sales efforts but nonetheless, the sales team can make efforts via phone call . They can involve themselves in pre- sale like prospect building , qualifying etc . Sales are not restricted by geography these days
