What is the importance of service providers in business growth?

The pandemic was a tough time for all businesses. But the worst hit were those who were clearly unprepared for a digital transformation.

A current apparel client of ours used to be heavily reliant on trade shows and fashion events. It was a major part of their revenue.

This led to over-reliance on offline channels led to trouble during the pandemic. With the COVID crisis not ending anytime soon, they did what any business would do.

Play a gamble and hire expert service providers like us who can scale their revenue.

In the last one and a half month, we have scaled their online revenue by 148% and the number of orders has gone up by 257%.

Pretty sweet numbers.

In B2B, service providers and agencies like ours play a vital role. An SMB cannot stay up to date with the changing landscape of marketing. And the good thing is 'Online' is where the customer is.

You just need to outsource the marketing to people who can do it better than you, focus on other aspects of the business which need your attention, while we take care of identifying the gaps in your marketing and keep the cash flow running.

I love helping my fellow PSers and If you have any questions around online marketing, Facebook ads and E-commerce, feel free to reach out to me.

What challenges did you face in lead generation for your clients? Are folks buying online keeping in mind the safety concerns?

Faisal Zia Anwer

yes they are buying more than ever tbh. People indoors are getting finicky and want stuff to make themselves feel better.

Now this isn't specific for every niche but for the .markets we work with pretty sweet stuff

Ps this result you saw, apparel ....worth inr 7k

Rajesh Garg

Numbers are great bro! How did you retained yor custumers once they started generating revenues, they may prefer hiring full time!

Faisal Zia Anwer

lower skillset. Plus here it is a contractual agreement not a full time hiring. So Lower responsibility

Reena Bajaj

One quick question, Why do folks consider hiring service providers for their business requirements? Why not full time employees?

Faisal Zia Anwer

Simple stuff is that we have more expertise cuz this is all we do:)

It is about expertise. Plus it is contractual so lower responsibility at higher result delivery. An employee won't give u that.

Online Lead generation is highly performance-driven- how did you convince your clients with the uncertainty in performance metrics due to COVID?

Faisal Zia Anwer

numbers and sales projections

Hardik Kapadia

How did your clients manage the surge in demand, when the logistics supply chain was disturbed?

Faisal Zia Anwer

there were a lot of strategies used, but yes for a time deliveries were paused.

Bhavik Jain

Agencies tend to be usually offline driven- how did you bring your team online and align to handle the surge in demand for your services?

Faisal Zia Anwer

well we have always been online so idk...force of habit.

Apurva Raj

How do you source prospect clients? Is it primarily from referrals, if yes how?

Faisal Zia Anwer

I have not had one good referral ever. Most of my leadgen is inbound. Now shifting to outbound channels as wel.

Jeet Parekh

@faisal koi startup ya company btaoge which have done really really great job by outsourcing marketing?🤔🤔

And yes i mean different from marketing and outsourcing copy writing and advertising.

Faisal Zia Anwer

mai abhi khud outsource krra half my stuff. I just came yo comment after a lead gen outsourcing call lol

Jeet Parekh

i meant great company, baki avg companies toh kafi milegi

Faisal Zia Anwer

Dairy Milk hi le lo..Ogilvy made some of their most memorable ads

Jeet Parekh

thats what i said. Creating an campaign or ads is different from marketing.

in my view u cannot outsource marketing. Tech may be outsourced in case of non tech play.🙂

Neeraj Joshi

 Jeet Parekh why?

Faisal Zia Anwer

Jeet Parekh oh sure u can man.

also...if u want example on that, read case study of what Claude Hopkins did for this new brand half a century back...named Pepsodent.

Jeet Parekh

Faisal Zia Anwer all examples are of advertising campaign outsourcing and not marketing.
As a marketer i hope you understand the difference.

Jeet Parekh

Neeraj Joshi thats why i am asking him examples, wherein marketing is outsourced for the company and yet company is wildly successful.

PS: Outsourcing crestive campaign is different from outsourcing marketing.

Faisal Zia Anwer

Jeet Parekh read the case study man. He didn't just take care of the advertising.

1. Brand positioning
2. Channel strategy
3. Channel relationships
4. Packaging strategy
5. Copywriting

These are just the factors I am aware of cuz it has been an year since I read it. He was an outsourced consultant for the brand that was struggling against Colgate.

After a lot of failures he made the brand a hit.

Harshit Soni

I'm using Facebook Ads.
Although a lot is available on the internet, any advice from your direct experience on how to increase add to carts for my eCommerce startup (a customized product )?

Faisal Zia Anwer

do u run add optimized for ATCs?

Harshit Soni

i run for purchase optimization

Faisal Zia Anwer

what is the CPA u get and also cost per ATC??

Harshit Soni

not so stable but I'm getting CPA between 350-600 and cost per ATC between 150-400. But, like I said, not very stable.
Actually it goes into learning limited and I've to duplicate the campaign again. So to get a stable and better campaign, need more purchases and the first step towards that is getting more ATCs.
What would you suggest now after knowing the entire situation?

Harshit Soni

so I got 385 landing page views, 8 ATC and 4 purchases.

Issue is less ATC and learning limited because of very less results.
How to increase ATC ?

Shikar Sharma

How did you convinced your clients during this pandemic when everything is uncertain?

Faisal Zia Anwer

cuz paisa aur kha se aaega aapka batao

That's what I said lol

Kshitij Patil

I completely (and obviously) agree. I feel that now more than ever will businesses understand the importance of outsourced scalable consult.

The Pandemic made people realised that not only should you be able to scale UP your operation, butalso scale DOWN.

I think there's gonna be at least one extra slide in every pitch deck about EMERGENCY SCALE DOWN and how they can effectively focus on the profit pockets while shrinking exposure into the capital intensive aspects of their business.

Would love to know about the strategy you use with High ticket products. How do you target the audience? Is it mostly lookalike or csv or broad targeting?
