I have a shipping related issue with Shyplite. I sent a couple of international packages through them, both weighing under 500 gms, considering volumetric and actual weight. As per Shyplite and their carrier (Aramex), I have been charged in the 1.5 kgs bracket for both which is absolutely wrong. I have pictorial evidence proving the content of the box including dead weight, the exact dimensions and weight of the box but Shyplite and Aramex are flat out denying this and sticking to the weight they are claiming. I have been going back and forth with Shyplite for over a month without any resolution.

What can be done in this case or is it best to forget the money and switch the provider?

Khyati Dodhia same issues with Shiprocket also. U need to fight. Send legal notice to both. Also bombard on social media about their False Loot, especially on linkedin

Shiprocket is known to be a legit scam. Totally given up on them. It seems like such a waste of time and mental capacity to fight these issues. Is it even worth sending a legal notice? Have you received any positive outcome from that?

please check their minimum weight charge.. sometimes shipping providers charge a minimum billing weight, even if our package weighs less

They charge in brackets of 500 gms increments. Weight is charged based on actual or volumetric, whichever is higher. This is after checking all these parameters.

All Shipping Aggregators are doing this. This is not a right practice and it will be difficult to be in business with this style of working.

You can file a complaint in consumer courts if you wish to if the resolution in not in your best interests
